INDIANAPOLIS, IN — Over the years, Meyer Najem has worked with numerous partners to create safe and successful projects for their clients. In an effort to recognize those partners, Meyer Najem created the Golden Hammer Awards. There are several award categories that represent the various aspects of the construction process, including: Innovation, Project Management, Field Supervision and Craft Persons, Accounting and Estimating.

Each year, Meyer Najem staff nominates individuals that embody work philosophy, attention to detail, safety and innovation in construction. Nominees are then voted on by a panel of professionals, who will then recognize the individuals and the companies they represent. Awards are presented to the individual at their workplace to show Meyer Najem's appreciation for their efforts and commitment to building safe and successful projects. This year's Golden Hammer Awards were presented to the following individuals:

• Innovator of the Year – Ryan Holsten, BRS Mechanical
• Project Manager of the Year – Jim Lauer, Geiger Peters
• Foreman of the Year – Dwight Bentley, Indy Steel
• Accountant of the Year – Cyndi Williams, Design & Build Electrical
• Craftsperson of the Year – Jerry Helton, Ferrer Mechanical
• Estimator of the Year – John McCormick, Kenny Glass
