A tradition that they have been carrying on for the past 23 years, the employees of Seiler’s Franklin, Wisconsin, location always look forward to holding this event.
“The ability for Seiler to reach out and provide this service for our customers is just paramount for us,” said Steve Grady, Seiler Geospatial Sales Representative. “We enjoy the interaction. We want to hear their comments and their concerns, but we also want to educate them so they are getting the maximum value out of the software and the hardware that they’re purchasing from us. ... Anybody can just deliver something to somebody’s door. But then to support it on the back end and to make sure they are getting their value out of it is very important to Seiler and to our partner, Trimble.”
Sean Chard, Trimble’s Senior Channel Manager, Geospatial Sector, was also on hand to speak to the more than 100 attendees and answer questions. “I’ve been with Trimble for 20 years, and I’ve been working with Seiler for 20 years," he said. "They are a great business partner, and we are very proud of our relationship. Seiler has a very strong customer base. ... It’s an incredible opportunity for Trimble to have boots on the ground and get with customers that use our gear.”
“We also want the customers to be thinking about what else they can do with the equipment and what else they can get out of it to be able to go out and market themselves a little bit more and make themselves more profitable,” Grady said.
